Who we are:
Glass Buffalo is a literary magazine in search of mythic power. We publish fiction, nonfiction, and poetry by emerging writers from the University of Alberta.
The magazine incorporates a black-and-white palette with clean design to create a friendly and enjoyable experience for our readers. Printed on recycled, gloss-free paper, Glass Buffalo absorbs the light and the attention of our readers. Our magazine feels comfortable in our readers’ hands, and remains there as they engage with our stories and turn our pages.
Our audience is comprised of anyone who loves a good story, such as students, academics, and writing professionals. They enjoy experiencing art in all its forms, and they are always on the hunt for their next great read and the place to read it in.
